Black Wattle obtains RBCT export tonnage allocation

JOHANNEBURG (miningweekly.com) –The allocation of 87 500 t of export tonnage at Richards Bay Coal Terminal has opened up direct coal export market access for Black Wattle Colliery, said subsidiary Bisichi Mining MD Andrew Heller on Friday.
The yearly allocation, which falls under the Quattro programme, allowed junior black economic-empowerment coal producers access to the coal export market.
Black Wattle is a fully operational opencast mine with well developed infrastructure, including a railway siding.
