Gold developer Black Cat Syndicate has appointed Nick Dwyer as CFO, succeeding David Lim, who has resigned from the company.

Dwyer most recently worked as CFO of TSX-listed Mandalay Resources and prior to that, he held senior finance positions at African Minerals.

The new CFO’s initial primary focus would be to engage debt providers to compliment to obtain a debt facility for its Paulsens mine restart plans. The debt facility would compliment the already agreed upon funding package necessary to accelerate the restart of the Paulsens mine.

On Friday, Black Cat announced it had replaced its A$60-million funding package for Paulsens to streamline regulatory approvals.
