Every year AMM is one of the largest industry events in Central Asia, where heads of industry ministries and associations, representatives of national and international companies, investment funds and experts from around the world meet to discuss the current challenges of mining & metallurgy and build effective networking aimed at fruitful long-term partnership.

AMM 2023 will be traditionally represented by a Congress and an exhibition of innovative proposals from mining and metallurgical companies.

The AMM exhibition will provide participants with extended opportunities for business communication with representatives of the public sector and the majority of subsoil users of Kazakhstan, providing high-quality networking in b2b meetings with companies.

As of today, more than 35 companies from Kazakhstan, China, Russia, USA, Finland and Switzerland participate in the exhibition.

Such companies as Kazzinc, KAZ Minerals, Micromine, LNDC, Hikvision, Swiss Tower Mills Minerals AG, SGS Kazakhstan and others are declared to be exhibitors.

Borkit Safety, Grintec Magotteaux Ceramic Technology Co., KazRemma Service, Metso Outotec, Rajant Corporation, Baisal Group, Krasny Octyabr Corporation and others will make their debut with stands.

The schedule of The AMM Congress sessions will change according to the following principle: the first day will be fully devoted to the technical block, during which the industrialists will discuss the problems, issues, and their solutions for each area of the industry. On the second day of the Congress a Plenary session will be held, which will be attended by representatives of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of industry and infrastructure development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the major market players, as well as a number of strategic sessions from the organizers and partners of the event.

The topic of this year’s Plenary Session is dedicated to the currently relevant discussion of sustainable models of company development on the way to decarbonization of production. There will also be many new formats of discussions on the following topics at AMM 2023:

  • Decarbonization of industry and green technologies
  • Improvement of legislation in the mining field
  • Global cooperation in critical minerals
  • Inspiring and informative leader stories to learn from
  • The best solutions in AMM Tech’s Innovation, Technology and Big Ideas section

The speakers at the AMM 2023 Congress will include Maros Sevcovic, Vice President of the European Commission; Edson Ribeiro, President of CRIRSCO; Husein Arslan, Chairman of YDA Group; Chen Jinghe, Chairman of Zijin Mining; Jeff Townsend, founder of the Critical Minerals Association (UK, London); Jason Holden, Lead Analyst at S&P Global Commodity Insights; Andreas Kullmann, CEO of DENA German Energy Agency, and many others. During the panel sessions, experts will respond to issues about their experiences with sustainable development, projects and plans, decarbonization of industry and cooperation with Kazakhstan in the field of green technology and critical minerals.

The AMM Congress will expand cross-industry investment cooperation, facilitate the conclusion of new contracts and the development of joint solutions to meet today’s challenges. This year, delegates and exhibitors will again have the opportunity to conduct effective b2b and b2g meetings, statistically 25% of which result in the signing of contracts.
