ASX-listed Peninsula Energy has appointed David Coyne as nonexecutive director and Willie Bezuidenhout as interim CFO.

Coyne and Bezuidenhout start their respective new roles at an exciting time for Peninsula, as the company works towards the restart of uranium production at its flagship Lance projects, in Wyoming.

Coyne returns to Peninsula after previously serving in a number of executive positions with the company, including FD, CFO and joint company secretary between the years 2013 and 2020, and as a nonexecutive director from July 2020 until October 2021.

Bezuidenhout is replacing Rachel Rees, who has resigned as executive director of finance and corporate affairs, CFO and joint company secretary with effect from April 4.

Bezuidenhout is the company’s VP of corporate development and was previously CEO of Peninsula’s South African operations.

Peninsula’s Lance project is due to recommence production in December, following a central processing plant capacity expansion construction project.
