Uranium-focused royalty and streaming company Uranium Royalty Corp on Tuesday announced a $30-million bought-deal financing, the proceeds of which will be used to fund purchases of physical uranium and to implement its growth strategy through acquisitions of royalties, streams and physical uranium.

The Nasdaq- and TSX-listed company has entered into an agreement with a syndicate of underwriters, led by BMO Capital Markets as sole bookrunner, under which the underwriters have agreed to purchase, on a bought deal basis, 10 205 000 common shares at $2.94 each.

The offering is expected to close on or about October 17.
